How do metal braces work?

Metal braces use a series of metal braces, archwires, and elastics to straighten your smile. We will affix a bracket to each of your teeth and run a thin metal archwire through them. The elastics are used to hold everything in place.

To progress through treatment, you will visit us for regular adjustment appointments. At these appointments, Dr Karim will place small bends in your archwires to apply targeted pressure to your teeth. This gentle pressure will slowly guide your teeth into proper alignment.
